Welcome to Milborne Ladybirds 

Welcome to all parents, carers and children of pre-school age.

Our playgroup was established in 2002 and is managed by a volunteer Management Committee as a Registered Charity. We operate from the Village Hall in Milborne St Andrew every weekday morning in term time, with a lunch club on four days.

We aim to give children a varied and interesting social preparation for school by learning through play. Parents and carers are invited to be involved in their child's education in this community based playgroup.

Children are given the opportunity to learn at their own pace under the supervision of qualified staff. We have a small band of staff and regular volunteers who have been with us since the setting opened. Training and updating of skills are regularly undertaken.

There is a close working partnership with Milborne First School with the group regularly visiting school. The reception teacher and assistant visit the playgroup.
